A few of us went down to Kate Gibb and James Brown's show 'Press and Pull'. It was an exhibit of their collaborative work exploring silk screen and lino cut processes. Both used layering techniques to create new colours which I found really interesting and would like to experiment with. Brown's alphabet was pretty mind boggling as he created an entire alphabet using only half letter forms for each letter and rotating them to complete the letter and create new colours. It was just a nice trip to East London overall, great to get out of Wembley!
